TIZEN OS HAS BEEN ABANDONED BY SAMSUNG SMARTWATCHES, BUT IT IS STILL AVAILABLE ON TVS.

Samsung's Galaxy smartwatch series is rumoured to be abandoning Samsung's own Tizen OS, according to rumours earlier this week. Samsung's smartwatches will now, according to the article, run on Google's Wear OS. The decision was made to increase the watch's compatibility with third-party applications, according to the company

Since Samsung's Tizen OS is used in many of the company's smart TVs, there have been some concerns about the company's plans for the device on televisions. Samsung, on the other hand, has confirmed that Tizen OS will continue to be supported on its televisions. Simply put, Google and Samsung's collaboration is solely focused on smartwatches. The collaboration has little to do with Samsung TVs running Tizen OS. “Tizen is still the default platform for our future smart TVs,” a Samsung spokesperson said

According to Samsung's report, smart TV sales in 2020 will account for 31.8 percent of the global market. For the 15th year in a row, the company has maintained its status as the world's largest television brand. Samsung's Tizen OS will be installed on 12.7 percent of smart TVs worldwide by the end of 2020. This is the most commonly used smart TV operating system at the moment. As a result, Samsung has no incentive to abandon Tizen for its smart TVs. If anything, due to app compatibility, other businesses would use the framework for their own products

TIZEN SYSTEM GETS A SERIOUS CHASE FROM ANDROID TV SYSTEM
At the same time, Google recently announced that the Android TV app is now installed on more than 80 million smartphones around the world. Nonetheless, with 155 million units sold, this is still a long way from Samsung's Tizen OS

It is far from simple to create an entire operating system from the ground up. In reality, while designing the system is easy, finding developers to create applications for it is a challenge. TizenOS has been around for quite some time, but it has never really taken off. This device is available on a few Samsung smartphones. They were, however, almost unnoticed in the smartphone industry. One of the big problems with this operating system is the lack of software. A few years ago, the company had to abandon its TizenOS for smartphones. The condition is the same with Samsung's wearables. The shortage of third-party software seems to be the primary explanation for Samsung's return to Google
