The Dimensity 900 has an octa-core CPU with two Arm Cortex-A78 cores running at 2.4GHz and six Arm Cortex-A55 high-efficiency cores running at 2.0GHz. It also includes MediaTek's third-generation APU and an Arm Mali-G68 MC4 GPU. This chip can adapt to a 120Hz screen refresh rate and supports flagship LPDDR5 memory and UFS 3.1 storage
In terms of connectivity, the Dimensity 900 has a 5G modem as well as Wi-Fi 6. It supports the entire 5G Sub-6GHz frequency band as well as 5G dual carrier aggregation technology, which can achieve a spectrum bandwidth of up to 120MHz. The chip also supports SA/NSA networking, 5G dual card dual standby, dual card VoNR services, and other features. It can save even more power when used in conjunction with MediaTek's 5G UltraSave Electrical technology
The Dimensity 900 supports MediaTek Imagiq 5.0 image processing technology in terms of imaging. It is fitted with a multi-core ISP and a 4K HDR video recording processor. The latter also employs 3D noise reduction (3DNR) as well as multi-frame noise reduction (MFNR). It can accommodate four cameras with a total resolution of up to 108MP
Floating-point precision of INT8, INT16, and FP16 operations is a benefit of the APU. AI white balance, AI autofocus, and other shooting functions are all supported by this AI processor. The chip-level MediaTek MiraVision image quality engine can intelligently change image quality parameters including colour, brightness, contrast, sharpness, and dynamic range in video streams
