PIXEL BUDS A AND APPLE AIRPODS 3 WILL BOTH BE RELEASED ON THE SAME DAY.

Despite numerous reports and even live images of the forthcoming AirPods 3 TWS earbuds circulating on the internet, Apple did not hold a press conference. Apple Music HiFi – the long-awaited choice for high-quality Apple Music audio streaming, which could be perfectly paired with the latest headphone model – could be announced next Tuesday (May 18), which will be a new likely date for the release of the earbuds. On the same day, the Google I/O conference will kick off, during which the Pixel Buds A TWS headphones will be unveiled, as we already know

Although there is some indirect evidence of this occurrence, 9to5mac believes Apple will delay the launch of the music service and headphones update until WWDC 2021, which begins on June 7th

DUE TO INCREASED COMPETITION, APPLE CUTS AIRPODS ORDERS BY 30%.

AirPods wireless headphones have been one of Apple's fastest-growing product categories in terms of revenue since their launch. The balance of power started to shift as competing solutions emerged; as a result, the company has reduced its output schedule for the current year by 25-30% to 75-85 million pairs

According to the Nikkei Asian Review, Apple has lowered its AirPods production goal from around 110 million units to around 80 million units. Previously, this product segment had seen double-digit growth in shipments, but Apple has recently faced increased competition. AirPods inventories are already on the rise, indicating a reduction in demand. The move from the second to the third quarter of this year would see the most substantial reduction in the production programme

AirPods are already available on Chinese marketplaces for 25% off the original price. Following the release of the next-generation AirPods this year, the company still hopes to see an increase in demand for this product category. According to Counterpoint Research, Apple shipped 72.8 million AirPods last year, accounting for 31% of the industry. Last year's AirPods production orders totaled 80-90 million units, with a portion of the headphones remaining in warehouses. Autumn sales did not help matters, as many potential customers chose less expensive options, which were plentiful

Analysts predict that sales of wireless headphones will increase by 33% this year, but Apple will continue to lose ground. If it accounted for 60% of the industry in 2018, it had previously accounted for just 31%. AirPods demand will peak in the second half of the year, when Apple releases its latest headphone model
