Xiaomi, a Chinese company, is adept at releasing a smartphone multiple times under different names for different markets. In certain cases, the company will tweak a few pieces of hardware in an existing product and re-release it under a new name for a new market. The business, on the other hand, typically does this with new (a few months old) devices. Xiaomi is planning to relaunch a two-year-old smartphone, according to a recent study. According to the news, Xiaomi will re-launch the Redmi Note 8 in some markets, including Europe
Xiaomi is attempting to resell its 2-year-old Redmi Note 8 cell phone for unique markets, according to @Kacper Skrzypek, a Polish unofficial MIUI translator. This argument is supported by the FCC listing summary paper. The smartphone's model number is M1908C3JGG, and it will be known as the Redmi Note 8 officially (2021)
However, the Redmi Note 8 (2021) will not be identical to the Redmi Note 8 from 2019. The MediaTek Helio G85 chip, which was released last year, will be used in this new smartphone. This is a step up from the Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 from 2019. It will, however, keep the same 4000 mAh battery as the previous one. The new MIUI 12.5 device will be installed on this smartphone
The leakster also announced that the latest Note 8 would have a 22.5W fast charging capability. This is an improvement over the previous 18W charging speed. A 48MP main camera will be used in this latest smartphone's quad-rear camera setup. It will have up to 128GB of internal memory for storage
There is currently no details about when this device will be available on the market. However, for the time being, speculations suggest that it would only be available in Europe and Russia. Apart from the changes listed above, it appears that the Redmi Note 8 (2021) retains the same specs as the 2019 model. The 2019 Redmi Note 8's specifications are listed below
